
Director, Product Management - Core Connect Home

Position Summary:
As the Director / Senior Director of Home Protection Products, you will be the strategic and commercial leader responsible for the end-to-end vision, execution, and performance of Asurion’s protection products for home electronics and connected devices in the Core Connect business unit. You will define and drive a customer-centric product strategy that balances experience excellence, profitability, and innovation across enrollment, claims, fulfillment, and service channels.
This role is central to expanding our home protection portfolio across Wireless, Cable, and Retail channels, enabling both new client launches and ongoing program enhancements. You will serve as the connective tissue between Product, Tech, Program, and Client-facing teams—leading a high-impact team and steering a diverse internal and external stakeholder network to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Define and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and roadmap for Core Home protection products
- Identify and prioritize product investments across key platform areas (Identity, Claims, Fulfillment, Service Hub, Field Techs, Retail Stores)
- Monitor competitive landscape to continuously optimize feature set, pricing, and value proposition
- Lead efforts to improve attach rate and conversion across partner and Asurion-owned channels
Customer Experience & Profitability
- Champion customer experience across all touchpoints—enrollment, claim filing, renewals, and support
- Drive implementation of high-impact features focused on pricing optimization, fraud prevention, claims optionality, and process automation
- Own product KPIs including Net Promoter Score (NPS), gross margin, and cost-per-claim
Client Launch & Program Delivery
- Quarterback new client launches and major program redesigns by orchestrating cross-functional alignment and delivery
- Partner with Client Solutions to shape commercially viable offerings and sell-in narratives
- Partner with Client Program Management to support successful implementations, ongoing support, and field enablement
- Translate partner-specific needs into scalable product capabilities
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of product managers focused on:
- Program performance and experience improvements
- Partner enablement and launch execution
- Market insights, pilots, and feature experimentation
- Foster a high-performance, data-informed, and collaborative team culture
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in product management, business strategy, or portfolio leadership roles, preferably in insurance, telecom, consumer services, or tech-enabled environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives with measurable business outcomes
- Experience working with or within client-facing organizations
- Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all organizational levels
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or other Master’s Degree preferred
