Hispanic Heritage Month 2023 - Highlight Reel
27-Oct-2023
Highlights from Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic community, and we did just that. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we made it a priority to remember and honor the many ways Hispanic Americans have enriched our culture and contributed to our collective organization.
Here are our top highlights from Hispanic Heritage Month:

LatinX Food tour @ Nashville's Gulch Hub
From Nashville, TN to Sterling, VA and hosted by our HOLA (Hispanic or Latino at Asurion) Employee Resource Group (ERG), our annual LatinX food tour is a part of heritage month celebrations that everyone looks forward to. Not only was there delicious traditional food and desserts, this year, we added a performance of authentic Colombian Cumbia and Salsa.

Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival
Asurion employees volunteered and participated in this year's Celebrate Nashville Culturual Festival. The festival continues in existence to celebrate and embrace cultural diversity through respecting, understanding, and appreciating the cultures of the Greater Nashville population. The festival takes place every year, on the first Saturday of October.

LATINA Style Top 50 List
We wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Month with the best surprise - having made the LATINA Style 50 list.
With Latinas only representing 8% of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforce, we are committed to providing the tools and platform for career advancements for Latinas in the tech industry.
