Director, Change Management

Overview:

The Director of Change Management is a key leadership role responsible for driving transformative initiatives within the supply chain and across the organization. Leading a dynamic team of people leaders and individual contributors, this role shapes and delivers new programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements. Change Management encompasses both Strategic Initiatives and Continuous Improvement teams. The Director sets the strategic direction, organizes the team structure, and provides guidance to operationalize initiatives successfully. Strong execution, coaching, problem-solving, influencing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the function by setting strategic direction, creating a framework to capture insights and driving action plans to ensure the team successfully shapes and delivers initiatives for the business   
  • Build the best team by identifying and hiring the right talent with deep execution knowledge and strong desire to understand and influence initiatives more broadly
  • Manage team capacity and prioritization to optimize team performance and project output
  • Lead and coach to motivates the team to adhere to delivery best practices and reach for full potential
  • Develop a culture of ongoing improvement that encourages team members to challenge status quo and continuously raise the bar
  • Develop frameworks, toolsets and best practices to enable the team to shape and flawlessly deliver initiatives
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span across the business that include both new client initiative and continuous improvement projects
  • Partner across Supply Chain and the organization to gather feedback and drive ongoing improvements to the team and seek incremental opportunities to positively impact the business
  • Report to senior leaders on project initiatives, key results and insights to drive awareness

  • Strong business acumen, analytical ability, and financial skills
  • Self-starter with strong desire to identify and lead opportunities that drive significant business impact.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize and drive initiatives while operating in a highly matrixed environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, supply chain, technology, finance or related field
  • 5 - 10 years of experience managing large scale projects and present highly complex results to senior levels
  • Proven ability to lead teams responsible for delivery of highly visible initiatives
  • Familiarity with LEAN and Six Sigma (Continuous Improvement) principles and methodologies
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, including but not limited to MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project
  • PMI – PMP or PgMP preferred
