
Supervisor, Payroll Timekeeping
Responsible in supervision of all timekeeping and payroll administration and assisting the Payroll Manager in performing several activities while ensuring that all their requirements and needs are being met.
Job Description:
- Supervise payroll and timekeeping activities
- Act as back up payroll processor for other staff, as needed.
- Act as back-up timekeeping report processor for other staff, as needed.
- Facilitate approver’s training of people leaders.
- Attend to employees and people leaders concerns and inquiries related to payroll and timekeepin as needed.
- Act as payroll system administrator.
- Review available payroll licenses versus business demand.
- Prepare purchase request for annual system maintenance and additional license.
- Supervision and review of final pay processing of terminated employees.
- Upload to CashPro final pay credit of separated employees,
- Act as payroll uploader on manager’s behalf, as needed.
- Provide a responsive and accurate payroll and timekeeping advisory services coursed thru HR.
- Contact person on projects, set up and process improvements in timekeeping and payroll.
- Communicate to bank POC, ATM machine issues.
- Supervision of Payroll Journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities.
- Preparation of labor, relocation, and other expat accounting entries.
- Connects with PIC for any concerns related to booking of Expat Entries.
- Preparation of month-to-month analysis of payroll expenses.
- Preparation of regular and requested management reports.
- Monitor and review performance, opportunities, and training needs of direct reports.
- Conduct cross training of direct reports for backup system in cases of emergencies.
- Participate in process alignment and calibration, as needed.
- Assists in all internal and external audits as needed.
- Provide and promote service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships.
- Contribute process improvement by participating in departmental goals and service deliver activities.
- · Assist Payroll Manager in other activities from time to time
- Qualifications:
Experiences, Skillsets & Personal Competencies
- At least 5-10 years’ experience in Timekeeping / Payroll with exposure in any Timekeeping/Payroll System in a medium or large workforce.
- Preferably a Certified Payroll Professional
- Strong knowledge of relevant Payroll tax rules and regulations
- Excellent Customer Service attitude
