Territory: Candidates should be located with easy access to a major airport in the U.S.
Regular travel to client offices and offsite meetings should be expected, with nationwide travel up to 75%.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between Asurion and Client Partner’s sales organizations, including In-Home Installation & Service, Customer Service, and Technical Support teams. Develop strong client relationships to gain support and drive growth with our product portfolio across multiple channels. Responsible for meeting or exceeding established financial and growth targets. Will assess and respond to gaps between current products, client needs, customer needs, and competitive offerings. The position will also work with internal client services team members and other internal cross-functional areas to identify growth opportunities and process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish channel growth strategy and establish key initiatives across all channels to maximize subscriber growth and minimize churn.
- Influence and partner with clients to develop and drive key strategies across all channels to offer Asurion’s products.
- Determine a sales strategy for each channel and resource allocation to realize growth strategy.
- Establish and cultivate senior client relationships within channel organizations.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence without authority within complex client organizations.
- Collaborate with peers across client teams to drive best practices and ensure consistent, high quality and repeatable performance, including continuing evolution of the sales process
- Partner with internal and client training and development teams on creation of sales training strategy, and development and delivery of training programs to all channels
- Analyze and deliver channel/client data to both client and the client services team to facilitate product advances based on demand and client direction.
- Build, manage, and execute engaging incentives for the client partner to drive focus and growth
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales/Client Management related role. Field experience strongly preferred
- Cable, Satellite, Saas, and/or Telecommunications experience strongly preferred
- Related areas such as experience with in-home technicians, premium technical support, customer success, smart devices / consumer electronics also relevant
- Demonstrated success in supporting sales through sales channels, including: Field Techs (installation and service), Call Centers (inbound, outbound, care), and Direct Sales
- Demonstrates executive presence and comfortable engaging at a VP level
- Must be comfortable presenting to & training groups of various sizes and educational levels
- Ability to influence and gain buy in
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate level abilities in Microsoft Office Suite and other client related applications.
- Contact management, time management, and strong organizational skills
- Availability and flexibility to travel nationwide up to 75% of the time
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
